Jeff was a wonderful instructor and definitely took his time to explain the differences between the electric saws and their applications. He allowed us to customize our toolbox into mini planter boxes. He also taught us about ways to correctly operate the machines to prevent injuries. He also sent helpful reminders leading up to the session, which I really appreciated. When we arrived, it was clear right away that his workshop is fully equipped with professional-grade tools and equipment.

Jeff is very knowledgeable and places a strong emphasis on safety. He walked us through precautions in detail and even explained common ways people get injured, which made us feel much more confident.

What stood out most was his teaching style. Instead of just having us follow instructions, he asked thoughtful questions about how things are made and why, which really encouraged us to think and learn. There was a great balance between independence and support — he stepped in when needed (especially when I wasn’t comfortable using certain tools like the saw), but otherwise let us work through things ourselves.

The learning felt very well-paced and tailored to our comfort level. We were engaged the whole time without feeling overwhelmed. Since it’s a one-on-one class, you really get his full attention, which makes a big difference.

We’re very happy with what we made and would highly recommend Jeff to anyone looking for a premium, hands-on woodworking experience.

What ages do you teach your classes to?

Our hand tool and basic basic woodworking classes are open to anyone 10 years and older.

Our advance power tool course including miter saw, table saw, band saw, router, jointer, planer, etc. are only open to those 18 years and older.

Do I need to fill out any paper work?

Anyone taking a course is required to sign a liability waiver. Students under the age of 18 are required to have a guardian sign in their behalf.

What is your cancellation policy for classes and workshops?

Our cancellation policy is:

Within 7 days prior to workshop – Full refund

Within 48 hours – Full credit towards another class

Within 24hrs or less – 50% credit towards another class

This policy is subject to change without notice.

Can I purchase lumber and woodworking supplies from your shop?

Absolutely! We have a wide selection of quality lumber and woodworking supplies available for purchase. Visit our shop to see our current inventory.

Do I need woodworking experience to use your shop?

No prior experience is necessary. We offer woodworking classes suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to advanced woodworkers.

What are your operating hours?

Our woodshop is open:

Monday – Sunday from 8am to 8pm.

By appointment only.

No, but we do offer access to our tools on-site for those who have completed our safety training courses. We also offer professional services for those looking to have the work done for them.

Can I bring my own wood for projects?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own wood for your projects. However, we recommend checking with our staff to ensure it’s suitable for your intended use and that it meets our safety standards.
